Call for Abstracts

The International APIMONDIA Symposium 2018

The International APIMONDIA Symposium 2018 on the ‘Role of Bees in Food Production’ will be held from November 30th to December 4th 2018 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with the theme:  Significance of Bees’ Pollination for Improved Food Production.

The National Apimondia Organizing Committee (NASOC) is pleased to invite interested members of the scientific community, including academicians, researchers and development practitioners to submit abstracts of their research and development work with relevance to the major topics of the APIMONDIA Symposium listed below to advocate role & importance of our bees.  Submissions of abstracts are invited from all over the world for both oral and poster presentation. Major topics for paper and poster presentations will be: 

  •  Pollination and food production
  • Threats to pollinators or to their performance
  • Environmental services & climate change
  • Commercialization and transformation of Beekeeping.

Interested individuals can submit their abstracts by email to registration@apisymposium2018.org latest by 30 April 2018. For the accepted abstracts, the authors will be informed by 30 June 2018 about the results and requested to submit full work by 30 September 2018.
